Part of this effort involves offering our own products, such as those from ProMeister and Automec, which undergo meticulous quality checks. These include brake discs, filters, and wheel bearings used in workshops and garages across Northern Europe. Today, we offer a wide and accessible range of affordable, innovative services, solutions, and products for workshops and vehicle owners.

The story behind Intermeko Europe
Intermeko Europe was founded in 2013 as a joint initiative between Inter Cars SA and MEKO (Mekonomen New Business AB). The new company included the Labo-Tech laboratory and Inter Cars SA’s quality control units, which had been operating since 2005. The combination of Inter Cars SA—a leading distributor of spare parts for cars, vans, and trucks in Central and Eastern Europe—and Mekonomen, Scandinavia’s largest distributor of spare parts and accessories, was a success. Together, they enable a robust partnership to strengthen testing and quality control in the industry.
The automotive aftermarket is undergoing a significant transformation in several areas to become more sustainable. Louise Wohrne, Head of Sustainability at MEKO, highlights sustainability trends for 2025 and how MEKO is addressing them.
Better purchasing prices and a stronger position – this is the result three years after MEKO's strategic entry into the Baltic region.
