Gunnar Rantzow – new President of Mekonomen’s Swedish retail operations

Gunnar Rantzow has been appointed President of Mekonomen’s Swedish retail operations and will become a member of Group management. Gunnar will assume his position no later than 1 January 2008.

Gunnar Rantzow has long and broad experience of sales, marketing and logistics in the retail sector. Gunnar joins Mekonomen from Coop inköp och logistik AB, where he was president. Prior to his work at Coop, Gunnar Rantzow’s positions included that of president of Ostkompaniet, head of Swedish operations for Cerealia Food and sales director for Arla.

Gunnar Rantzow succeeds Nils-Erik Brattlund who will move to the position of head of business establishment within the Mekonomen Group.
