Pehr Oscarson new President of MECA Scandinavia AB

Pehr Oscarson is to assume the position of President of MECA Scandinavia AB succeeding Torbjörn Olsson. Since 2013, Pehr has held the position of Executive Vice President of MECA and President of MECA Car Parts.
Torbjörn Olsson, President of MECA Scandinavia since 2010, is leaving the position of President today and will be replaced by Pehr Oscarson. Pehr has held senior positions within MECA since 2001, most recently as Executive Vice President and President of MECA Car Parts, as well as being responsible for market and concept development. Prior to this, he was President of the wholesale operation and the automotive store chain Swecars AB.
“Torbjörn Olsson has successfully developed MECA and has been a strong contributor to the successful integration following Mekonomen Group's acqusition of MECA,” says Håkan Lundstedt CEO of the Mekonomen Group.

MECA Scandinavia was acquired in 2012 by the Mekonomen Group, which also includes Mekonomen Nordic and Sørensen og Balchen. Pehr Oscarson will assume the position as President of MECA Scandinavia on 13 March 2014.
