Mekonomen Group has signed a letter of intent with the Norwegian technology and innovation company Electric Way to become a service partner for the Chinese electric vehicle brand VOYAH, which will be launched shortly. The collaboration contributes to strengthening Mekonomen Group's investment in leading the electric vehicle transformation in the Nordic region.

Electric Way, a part of the Norwegian car dealer Sulland Group, intends to choose Mekonomen Group as their service partner for the electric vehicle brand VOYAH, which will soon be launched in the Nordic region. The sale of cars will take place digitally, where Mekonomen Group will stock and handle the logistics of spare parts, train workshops and handle service and repair of the VOYAH cars.

“We are proud that Electric Way has chosen Mekonomen Group as partner for the upcoming launch of VOYAH. We have developed a scalable offer for electric vehicle dealers focusing on competence and access to our extensive network of workshops and shops throughout the Nordic region. The ongoing electric vehicle transformation means major changes for the industry, where we in recent years have increased competence and product range to ensure high customer satisfaction and innovative services for all electric vehicle owners. We look forward to welcoming VOYAH car owners to our workshops”, says Oskar Gibas Hjertquist, Senior Business Developer at Mekonomen Group.

“It is gratifying to announce that we today entered into a comprehensive agreement with Mekonomen Group regarding service, repair and maintenance of VOYAH. Electric Way aims to develop and challenge the traditional car dealer business model, and at the same time take care of what is important; the service and follow-up. We will run the business by safeguarding Scandinavian tradition and adding world-leading innovation. With the collaboration with Mekonomen Group, we have every opportunity to combine new exciting technology with proven quality and an efficient logistics chain”, says Torje Sulland, CEO at Electric Way.

Already this week, the first model of the electric vehicle brand is launched in Norway, VOYAH Free. VOYAH is manufactured by the large Chinese Dongfeng Group, with Electric Way as the exclusive importer.
