29 June 2022 13:00

“The electric car boom in the Nordic region: The truth about what we think about mobility and the future”

During Sweden's largest political week in Visby, Gotland, MEKO hold a seminar to talk about the future of mobility based on a new unique report mapping trends and wishes by habitants in the Nordics. With a panel of experts within mobility, sustainability and the rapidly changing automotive industry MEKO will discuss the possibilities of mobility in the future.

The seminar will be in Swedish and avaliable through live streaming.

The Mobility Barometer is now being launched, a comprehensive and unique report that shows what we really think and feel about mobility in general and electric cars in particular. With over 4,000 respondents in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark, the barometer reveals what habits we have today - but also what we want from the future.

During the seminar, we dig deeper and answer questions such as; What do Swedes really think and feel about the car? How do we see electricity as the fuel of the future? How willing are we to change our habits in Sweden compared to our neighboring countries?

We will look at the answers and discuss it with the panel consisting of experts in mobility, sustainability and the rapidly changing automotive:

  • Petra Bendelin, Director of Business Development & Strategy, MEKO AB

  • Anders Roth, Mobility Expert, IVL Svenska Miljöinstitutet

  • Lennart Olsson, Senior Manager Pricing and Biofuel, Circle K

  • Moderator: Anders Oxelström, Kreab
