New number of shares in Mekonomen AB (publ)

On 23 May 2012, Mekonomen issued a press release stating that the company’s acquisition of Meca had been completed. As part of the acquisition process it was stated that a decision had been taken to issue 3,086,882 new shares in line with previously announced plans.

On completion of the issue of 3,086,882 new shares, there are now a total of 35,901,487 shares in Mekonomen. All shares are of the same class.

The information in this press release constitutes the disclosure of an increase in the number of shares in accordance with the first paragraph of chapter 4 section 9 (1991:980) of the Swedish Financial Instruments Trading Act.
