Mekonomen Group strengthens the Group management team with Director of Business Development and Strategy

Following rapid growth through acquisitions in 2018 and subsequent consolidation, Mekonomen Group clarifies its focus on developing a long-term and competitive business. In order to intensify the strategic work, the Group management team is strengthened with Petra Bendelin as Director of Business Development and Strategy.

In 2020, Mekonomen Group will continue its focus on purchasing synergies, efficiency and profitability in the core business. At the same time, the company clarifies its strategy towards a long-term competitive business. As part of intensifying the strategic work within concept development, digitalization and the customer offer, the Group management is strengthened with Petra Bendelin, Director of Business Development and Strategy.

“With Petra´s drive, knowledge of the industry and her experience in strategic business development, she will make a positive contribution to our future business. We shall increase the pace when it comes to developing our concepts and offerings, not least through digitalized solutions and flows. We aim to take full advantage of the innovations already developed within the Group through best practice, but also identify new areas where we will take a prominent position and continue to develop the automotive aftermarket”, says Pehr Oscarson, President and CEO of Mekonomen Group.

Petra Bendelin has worked within Mekonomen Group since 2010 in several leading positions, most recently as Managing Director of the Group´s subsidiary ProMeister Solutions, which develops and offers workshop services such as training, digital services and customer service.

Petra Bendelin is a member of the Group management team from 7 February 2020.
