MEKO Academy – expertise driving the automotive industry forward

In the workshop — among vehicle lifts, tires, batteries, and glowing service lights — the technicians of tomorrow face their greatest challenges. This is where MEKO strengthens its role as an educator and guide through an industry undergoing rapid change. With the launch of MEKO Academy, the Group brings all of its training initiatives together under one shared name, creating a center where knowledge, technology, and professional pride come together.

MEKO Academy – expertise driving the automotive industry forward

“MEKO Academy is an important conceptual step forward for us and a resource for anyone looking to develop their skills, right in the middle of an exciting transformation. The number of electric vehicles on the road is growing rapidly, new players are producing their own vehicles, and digital solutions are changing how workshops operate. This places higher demands on the automotive aftermarket, which needs technicians who can master both mechanics and advanced software, regardless of powertrain,” says Anders Oxelström, Director of Communications and HR at MEKO.

Previously, much of MEKO’s training was delivered under the Promeister Academy name. By uniting all programs under MEKO Academy, the Group takes the next step in equipping the next generation of automotive technicians with the knowledge and tools they need to meet challenges with confidence and skill. This strengthens the individual, the workshop, and the entire industry—while also addressing society’s need for employable, highly skilled technicians who can drive the automotive sector forward.

For technicians, workshops, and society

Whether you’re on the workshop floor, already working in the profession, or dreaming of becoming an automotive technician and running your own shop, MEKO Academy makes it easier to access courses, technical support, and new training programs. Bringing all education under one shared name highlights the breadth and depth of MEKO’s expertise in training.

“Our programs—from upper secondary education to advanced courses in high-voltage components and electric vehicle technology—make us a leading force in automotive education. MEKO Academy provides the expert knowledge, tools, and platform you need to succeed,” says Anders Oxelström.

A long tradition of education where the technicians of the future take shape

MEKO’s commitment to education runs deep. In the past, courses and programs were offered under different names and across different markets, reflecting broad experience but sometimes creating fragmentation.

Over the years, the Group has steadily expanded its offerings. Today, MEKO provides everything from upper secondary programs and vocational college courses in the Nordic region to specialized advanced training in electric vehicles, high-voltage components, and remote diagnostics—both across the Nordics and in multiple markets around the Baltic Sea.

With MEKO Academy, all of this expertise comes together under one name. It is a center of knowledge where the automotive technicians of the future are shaped, where workshops strengthen their capabilities, and where MEKO—together with society—creates sustainable growth and innovation. Every technician is given the opportunity to develop their professional skills and be fully prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.

Tires driving growth and strengthening MEKO’s market position

18 June 2026

When millions of vehicle owners schedule tire changes each year, it’s rarely just about the tires. For repair shops, it’s one of the most valuable opportunities to connect with customers, build long-term relationships, and create new business opportunities. That’s why tires are much more than a seasonal product for MEKO — they are a strategic growth area with significant long-term potential.

Building the future of logistics to keep Northern Europe moving

16 June 2026

Mobility depends on vehicles staying on the road and getting from point A to point B. Whether it’s a family car, a commercial vehicle, or an entire corporate fleet, repair shops need access to the right parts at the right time. Behind that availability is MEKO’s logistics network — one of the most advanced automotive aftermarket supply chains in the Nordic region.

Every Part Matters — for the car, the driver, and the wallet

21 April 2026

Europe’s vehicle fleet is aging, while car owners are becoming increasingly price-conscious. For workshops, this creates a new reality: more customers need service and repairs, but at a cost that aligns with the vehicle’s value. With Every Part Matters, MEKO introduces a brand designed to meet this shift — offering spare parts that combine reliable quality with a price point more car owners can accept.
