In response to this development, MEKO is launching Every Part Matters. The brand is designed to provide workshops with a cost-effective alternative when a vehicle’s value sets the boundaries for what a repair can reasonably cost. The result is a product range that helps keep more vehicles on the road, without compromising safety or reliability.

In the automotive industry, spare parts are often described across three tiers: good, better, and best. Over time, MEKO has built a strong portfolio of exclusive brands with a clear position in the higher segments. However, a growing share of the market looks different — many car owners want to repair their vehicles but need to do so at a lower cost.

“For customers with lower-value vehicles, it often doesn’t make sense when repair costs approach the value of the car,” says Henry Elfgren Alséus, Product Manager for MEKO’s exclusive brands. “If a workshop can’t offer a cost-effective alternative, the customer risks going elsewhere—and the entire business is lost.”

By complementing its brand portfolio with Every Part Matters, MEKO enables workshops to serve more customers while retaining the business. “With Every Part Matters, we make reliable automotive parts accessible and affordable—so more people can continue using their vehicles,” says Henry Elfgren Alséus.

The name reflects the essence of the brand: every part plays a vital role in vehicle function, safety, and for the driver behind the wheel.

Built on real-world needs—and the demands of the Nordic climate

The spare parts range is being developed progressively into a broad offering, focused on product areas where a cost-effective alternative is both relevant and in demand. Selection is based on careful prioritization of which components are suitable for this positioning.

“Not all components are suitable for low-cost alternatives. In critical areas where risks or downstream costs can be high, different solutions are required. For Every Part Matters, it is essential that the parts can withstand the demands of the Nordic climate—while still offering the right price,” says Henrik Petterson, Director of MEKO’s exclusive brands.

The Nordic climate places high demands on automotive components. Cold temperatures, road salt, and wide temperature fluctuations put significant strain on both vehicles and spare parts. Products are therefore developed and quality-assured according to both industry standards and MEKO’s own requirements, with a focus on year-round performance in Nordic conditions. At MEKO’s Intermeko Europe laboratory in Poland, parts undergo advanced technical testing and quality control to assess durability, quality, and safety, ensuring they meet the requirements of the Northern European market.

“Our strategy is to grow both in breadth and depth—but always where it makes technical and commercial sense,” says Henrik Pettersson. “Ensuring that a vehicle can operate at a reasonable cost is critical. If we can deliver that, we create value for both the car owner and the workshop.”
